it's been awhile

how many of you thought of that song when you read the title? who sings it? can't remember.

well, it has been a little while since you heard from us. jes got her wisdom teeth taken out last thursday. ouch. it was not a fun experience, but she's glad it's over & she never has to do it again. jus took real good care of her though! he was so wonderful! thanks baby. if you live in marion & even if you don't-go to dr. cox! he was great! she hasn't had any troubles & compared to some stories we've heard her operation went amazing! thanks dr. cox!


my mom thinks i look romanian.

so we have finished up at college church. justin's last day was today. he cleaned out his office & tied up some loose ends. he had a great last sunday also. we've had a great couple years here & now we're excited to see what the next leg of our journey looks like! we're talking california...la maybe? but not for a couple months.

our objective right now is to find some temporary work. jus needs to work for 18 days or something & jes needs something for june & july. if anyone thinks of anything--e-mail us!

no bun intended

i have received a few e-mails this week asking whether or not we were pregnant. those asking had good reason, i did title the e-mail about our blog "important announcement" & then if you actually went on to read the blog i had posted the word of the day & it just so happened to be zaftig, meaning pleasantly plump or something. so to those of you who thought it & said something & to those of you who thought it & didn't...sorry, no bun in our oven just yet.

rain rain go away

we had big plans this weekend. camping at clifty falls with the jacksons & the stokes has been a life long dream--well maybe not lifelong, but it has since emily mentioned it 3 weeks ago. alas, the rain has gotten the better of us & we had to cancel our trip. we're bent on making memories though. we'll do that come rain or shine. tonight a little dinner & pool at beatnick's, tomorrow star wars...our options are endless (not really-we're in marion), but at least we do have options.

i love the song by pedro the lion--"i would never divorce you without a good reason, & though i may never have to, it's always nice to have options". i like the sway of his melody.

birthdays & vacations

birthdays & vacations are my all time favorite things ever!! birthdays because it is a day all for me & vacations because i get to relax so very very much!

i had a wonderful--the best ever birthday this year! i turned 25 on may 6 (i know a quarter of century). it was so great! on thursday night the stokes, jacksons & justin surprised me with a cake & gifts! we partied all night long! on friday jus & i relaxed together during the day & then he took me to indy that night. we walked my favorite part of the canals & had dinner in the city! it was incredible! thank you babe! i included some pictures on the photos section of our blog--check them out!

on sunday i left for va for the next 5 days it was a wonderful time spent with my family! they spoiled me & gave me another birthday celebration (i racked up 3 this year). i was also there to celebrate mother's day with my mom--i am glad, she is a spectacular woman! i spent the week watching anne of green gables with my grandma ruth, hiking with my brother josh, going to amanda's softball game (pictures under photos) & spending late nights with em talking & waxing our legs! it was a beautiful week! i love you family!

i'll wrap up with a little update about justin & i: we are going to be moving on from dear ol' marion at the end of july. we have had a wonderful experience here we will never forget this chapter of life. after the lemasters family vacation we will be picking up & moving to los angeles. we are super excited for this next stage & are sure there are many adventures awaiting us there.

we hope you can give us another chance. this time we hope to update more frequently. we are going to have some major events happening in the next few months...don't you worry your pretty little heads-we're gonna update it.
