happy new year!

we had a wonderful time in chicago with matt, liz, josh & kari! it was unforgettable--we all got a room together, ate dinner at this mexican resturant with great atmosphere called pepe's and headed down to navy pier. we played cards, laughed so much and celebrated the new year with fireworks and thousands of other people. it was a great way to bring in the new year--after we screamed happy new year a million times we took the train back to the hotel & gorged ourselves on junk food. we hope you all had a wonderful new year too--does anyone have any new year's resolutions?

we just spent the last 4 days with our wonderful friends josh & kari jackson--it was so great! this is the first time we have seen them in a year and a half--they have been in sydney, australia where josh is working at a church & kari is going to school for tv production. we wish they were here to stay, but they fly back next week--we will miss them so much!

it's back to normal life now. we have had a wonderful holiday seeing our family & friends. justin is back in the office today--jes & roxy are at home laying around. life is good.
jes has sent her resume in to cs kern (print production company) and is hoping to hear something soon. for those of you who don't know she resigned from her position at cwc at the end of 2004. she is looking forward to whatever comes next whether it's cs kern or something else.
oh by the way we saw the aviator this week with josh & kari--it was not worth the $11.50 (thanks jk) great acting--poor story. maybe had we known a bit more about that time & howard hughes it would have been better. it was slow & long (2h 50m)--not a good combination. just thought we'd warn you.
